We are very pleased to be writing to you jointly, to update you on important and positive changes.
By now you would have heard that Gibbscorp has merged with SRG Group, together we form a much larger combined force in not only the Western Australia market but Australia as a whole.
We had been talking about a merger for some time as we believed that a combined operation would create enormous synergies and provide further benefits to our combined clients through scale and greater services such as claims management, technical services and so on adding to the experience.
Fast forward 6 months. The merger took place on the 1st of July.
Both organisations complement each other very well, with all staff from both organisations being offered positions within the combined group. The people who currently service you remain with the group which is very pleasing. We made a concerted effort to ensure there were no significant changes that would impact on the service you have been receiving from the Gibbscorp Team.
Important changes that we must inform you now are.
New AFSL licence authority.
Gibbscorp were previously operating as a Corporate Authorised Representative of Insurance Advisernet for the past 15 years. With the merger taking place Gibbscorp will now operate under SRG Group’s AFS licence (no. 288320). This change has already taken effect and a new Financial Services Guide outlining important information and disclosures is below for your reading.
Change in Bank Details.
All premium payments appearing on our new invoice header, displaying the SRG/Gibbscorp logos will be directed to BPay. Payments on our previous IAA/Gibbscorp Invoice Header must be settled in the normal way. Please delete our old bank details from your banking system once you have settled all outstanding premiums and update your records with our new BPay details.
It should appear like business as usual, however, if there are any issues, please give either of us a call directly and we will endeavour to determine the best solution.
